Yes. Akari is fully self-powered and requires no venue electricity or WiFi. Every licensed venue in Brampton (banquet halls, convention centres, hotel ballrooms, community centres, outdoor tents) can be served without any coordination with venue staff about power or connectivity.
Can Akari handle large Brampton receptions with 300+ guests?+
Yes. Large events are where Akari performs best. A stationary booth fails at Brampton-scale events. Guests at the far tables never find it. Akari's roaming format means every table gets covered regardless of guest count. We regularly serve 300-400 person receptions at venues like Paradise Convention Centre and Royalton Banquet Hall.
Does Akari work well for South Asian and multicultural weddings?+
Absolutely. It's one of our most common setups in Brampton. Multi-event formats (sangeet, reception, after-party), large guest lists, and long celebration timelines are exactly what Akari was built for. What does the custom print overlay include?+
We design a branded overlay specific to your event. Weddings typically feature your names and date styled to match your invitation aesthetic. Corporate and gala events include your logo, tagline, and sponsor placements. A proof is sent before the event for your approval. Nothing goes to print without your sign-off.
How far in advance do I need to book?+
As early as possible for peak wedding season (May-October) and cultural celebration dates like Diwali, Eid, and long weekends: these fill fastest in Brampton. That said, we frequently handle last-minute bookings. Send us your date and we'll confirm availability within minutes.
What happens after the event?+
Every photo from the night is delivered in a private online gallery within 48 hours: full resolution, every guest, every table. Corporate bookings also receive a lead list with contact details collected via digital delivery. We handle the full post-event package so you have nothing to chase down.
Is the piloted photobooth rental accessible for guests with mobility limitations?+
Yes. Because the robot comes to each guest at their seat, it is naturally inclusive for guests in wheelchairs, guests with limited mobility, and older guests who would never queue at a corner photo booth. The entire experience happens at table level: no standing, no walking, no queue. At large Brampton receptions with multigenerational guest lists, this is one of Akari's most consistent strengths.
How is guest contact information handled after the event?+
Phone numbers and email addresses collected at digital delivery are used solely to send the guest their photo. We do not store, sell, or market to guest contact information beyond that purpose. Contact data is removed from our systems after the post-event gallery delivery window closes. Our data practices comply with CASL and PIPEDA.
Can guests choose not to provide their contact details?+
Yes. Digital delivery is completely opt-in. Guests who prefer not to share their phone number or email simply take their instant print and move on. No data is collected from anyone who declines. The instant print is theirs regardless.
What is the print and photo quality like?+
Akari uses a 4K camera and professional dye-sublimation printing: the same standard used in high-end portrait studios. Prints are available in 2×6 or 4×6 format depending on your package. The output quality is significantly higher than a thermal photo strip or phone print, which is why guests keep and display them well after the event.
What happens if there is a technical issue during the event?+
Our operator is on-site for the full duration and resolves any technical issue immediately. We carry backup consumables for all events. In the rare case of a hardware failure that cannot be resolved on-site, we provide a full or partial refund proportional to lost coverage time. We have never had to end an event early due to a technical fault.
