Do you serve all Mississauga venues including banquet halls and convention centres?+
Yes. Akari is fully self-powered and requires no venue electricity or WiFi. Every licensed venue in Mississauga (banquet halls, convention centres, hotel ballrooms, outdoor tents, restaurant private rooms) can be served without coordination with venue staff about power or connectivity.
Can Akari handle large Mississauga events with 200+ guests?+
Yes. Large events are where Akari performs best. A stationary booth fails at scale: guests don't find it, or the queue kills the experience. Akari's roaming format means the host-to-table coverage stays consistent regardless of guest count. We've covered events at Pearson Convention Centre and the International Centre with 300+ guests.
How far in advance do I need to book for Mississauga?+
As early as possible for June-September weddings and October-December corporate events: these dates fill fastest in Mississauga. That said, we frequently accommodate last-minute bookings. Send us your date and we'll confirm availability within minutes.
What does the custom print overlay include?+
We design a branded overlay specific to your event: names, date, logo, colour palette, and messaging. For weddings it typically features your names styled to your invitation aesthetic. Corporate packages include your logo and tagline. Sponsor logos can be featured on gala prints. A proof is sent before the event.
What's included after the event?+
Every photo from the night is delivered in a private online gallery within 48 hours: full resolution, every guest, every table. Corporate and trade show bookings also receive a full lead list with contact details collected via digital delivery.
Is Akari insured?+
Yes. Akari carries full liability insurance and can provide documentation to any Mississauga venue that requires it prior to the event. We handle the paperwork in advance so there are no surprises on the night.
Is the piloted photobooth rental accessible for guests with mobility limitations?+
Yes. Because the robot comes to each guest at their seat, it is naturally inclusive for guests in wheelchairs, guests with limited mobility, and older guests who would never queue at a corner photo booth. The entire experience happens at table level: no standing, no walking, no queue. For large Mississauga events with diverse or multigenerational guest lists, this is one of the roaming format's greatest advantages over a traditional booth.
How is guest contact information handled after the event?+
Phone numbers and email addresses collected at digital delivery are used solely to send the guest their photo. We do not store, sell, or market to guest contact information beyond that purpose. Contact data is removed from our systems after the post-event gallery delivery window closes. Our data practices comply with CASL and PIPEDA.
Can guests choose not to provide their contact details?+
Yes. Digital delivery is completely opt-in. Guests who prefer not to share their phone number or email simply take their instant print and move on. No data is collected from anyone who declines. The instant print is theirs regardless.
What is the print and photo quality like?+
Akari uses a 4K camera and professional dye-sublimation printing: the same standard used in high-end portrait studios. Prints are available in 2×6 or 4×6 format depending on your package. The output quality is significantly higher than a thermal photo strip or phone print, which is why guests keep and display them after the event.
What happens if there is a technical issue during the event?+
Our operator is on-site for the full duration and resolves any technical issue immediately. We carry backup consumables for all events. In the rare case of a hardware failure that cannot be resolved on-site, we provide a full or partial refund proportional to lost coverage time. We have never had to end an event early due to a technical fault.
